Pulaski Booking Photo Records
A booking photograph is created during intake and stays tied to that booking after departure. Illinois FOIA defines public records broadly enough to include photographs, but access remains subject to privacy, juvenile, law-enforcement, sealing, and other exemptions. The existence of a photo does not require Pulaski County to create a public gallery. Nor does the image establish guilt, disposition, release type, or present location.
A released person usually drops from a live jail roster. Pulaski has no verified official roster photo, recent-release gallery, sheriff app, or booking-photo social archive. The absence of an online picture does not prove the detention center lacks the image in its booking file.

No Pulaski Mugshot Gallery
The official Pulaski detention-center and sheriff pages do not provide a current roster, 24-hour or 72-hour release list, historic roster, mobile app, or photo gallery. Do not substitute the highly visible Pulaski jail site from Kentucky. Confirm Illinois by the Ullin facility, the county's official domain, and 618 contact numbers.

- Give the full name and date of birth if known.
- Identify the approximate booking date and booking or case number.

Illinois Mugshot Publication Rules
Under 5 ILCS 140/2.15(g), law enforcement generally may not publish booking photos on social-networking sites for civil, petty, business, Class C misdemeanor, or Class B misdemeanor matters unless a listed public-safety purpose applies. This limit does not make every booking photo confidential and does not require Pulaski to build a gallery.
Illinois law at 815 ILCS 505/2QQQ prohibits soliciting or accepting payment to remove, correct, or modify criminal-record information, including criminal-justice photographs. Covered for-profit publishers must follow a documented-error correction process. The law is not an automatic deletion right for accurate official material.
Can Pulaski Mugshots Be Removed?
Sealing or expungement can restrict access to eligible official records based on the order and custodian. It does not guarantee deletion of every independently published copy, and it does not change the historic fact that a custody stay ended. Juvenile and other protected records have separate limits.
For an error, contact the source holding the image and provide the booking number, case record, and correction order when applicable. Ask the agency to identify its legal basis if access or correction is denied. Neither the social-posting limit nor the anti-pay-to-remove law forces publication or grants automatic erasure.
Match a Pulaski Release Mugshot
A photograph without its booking context is easy to misidentify. Match the full name, date of birth when available, booking date, booking number, arresting or committing agency, and Pulaski court case. A later IDOC image can look different and belongs to a state correctional file rather than the original Ullin booking.
The Pulaski court docket can explain the charge, bond or pretrial order, dismissal, plea, judgment, sentence, and custody credit. It usually is not the source of the jail photograph. Pulaski Photos After a Transfer
Pulaski County Detention Center houses local detainees as well as people held under neighboring-county and USMS authority. A departure may be a return to another county, an IDOC commitment, or a federal transfer. That movement can create or preserve images in more than one system, but it is not proof of release to the community.
For an IDOC case, the state master file may contain photographs, admission and release data, sentence calculations, detainers, and status forms. For a USMS case, federal policy sharply limits prisoner photographs and federal release questions should follow the court, USMS, or BOP path. Current sources do not establish active ICE detention at Pulaski, although older records document that role.
Ask each custodian only for the record it created. Pulaski can answer for the county booking image and local handoff. IDOC can answer for a state correctional photograph. Neither source should be asked to certify an image held only by another agency.

Regional news may reproduce a law-enforcement photograph in a story about a dated event. Such an article can help identify which agency supplied an image, but it is secondary evidence. It does not replace the booking record, prove the current case result, or certify a release timestamp.
Commercial galleries and data brokers may also retain independent copies. They are not linked or endorsed here. Illinois's paid-removal rule addresses covered for-profit publishers, but a person should not assume that paying a service is needed or lawful. Use the documented-error process and the originating official record when a factual correction is sought.
