Request the nonexempt remainder and the statutory basis if part is withheld. Electronic delivery can reduce copy cost.
For a true last-24-hours list, state exact endpoints in Central Time and ask for an existing release log “if maintained.” Also define whether the request should include transfers. Without that definition, the output may mix people who entered the community with people delivered to another jail, IDOC, or federal custody. Illinois FOIA generally allows five business days for a noncommercial response, subject to a written statutory extension, so it is a record route rather than an instant feed.
Verify Pulaski Release Authority
The Pulaski Circuit Court record explains why a release may have been authorized. Travel After Pulaski Release
No official source publishes a set release hour, exit door, waiting area, property-return process, or jail-gate transit stop. Families should call before traveling to Ullin. Release processing can take place after a court event, and the exact time cannot be inferred from the order alone.
Shawnee Mass Transit District’s service information covers Pulaski and nearby southern Illinois counties. Its current route guidance calls for reservations at least 24 hours ahead and asks riders to be ready before pickup, but it does not list a stop at the detention center. Call dispatch at 866-577-6278 to ask whether a pickup can be arranged. Do not expect a walk-up bus at the jail.
